What Is the ICE Exchange Programme?

The ICE Programme (International Cultural Exchange Programme) connects partner schools in the United Kingdom and Thailand through a structured, two-way student exchange.

This unique programme allows:

  • Thai students to visit the UK for two weeks
  • UK students to visit Thailand for two weeks
  • A four week exchange period where learning, culture, and collaboration come together

Students experience life inside a partner school abroad, gaining first-hand insight into education systems, daily life, and cultural traditions beyond their own country.

Why an International Exchange?

In an increasingly global world, students need more than classroom learning. The ICE Exchange Programme gives young people the opportunity to:

  • Experience education and culture outside their home country
  • Build confidence, independence, and adaptability
  • Develop global awareness and respect for different cultures
  • Form meaningful friendships with students from across the world
  • Use English and other languages in real-life situations
  • This is not tourism, it is authentic, educational exchange.

A Truly Two-Way Experience

Unlike traditional one-direction exchanges, ICE is built on equal partnership.

Thai Students in the UK

  • Attend lessons in a UK partner school
  • Experience British education, teaching styles, and school life
  • Take part in arts, sports, STEM, and language projects
  • Explore British culture, history, and community life

UK Students in Thailand

  • Join lessons in a Thai partner school
  • Experience Thai education, customs, and traditions
  • Participate in cultural activities, creative arts, and sport
  • Develop intercultural communication and global understanding

Both groups return home with new skills, confidence, and perspective.
