Opportunities
The project will provide SMEs with the information, knowledge, skills and research and development capacity to avail of development, technology transfer and licensing opportunities presented through various sources in each of the regions. The programme will specifically:
- Provide access to technology transfer opportunities on regional basis
- Inform company participants of opportunities in this field
- Train staff in host organisations of the opportunities to be availed of in support of development of SMEs
- Identification and investigation of Licensing in /out opportunities
- Providing gateway and referrals for SMEs to research & development facilities, access state supports and opportunities
The information will be accessed regionally and the Project Partners will work closely with the companies to identify opportunities, access resources and advice, assist in negotiations and explore financing opportunities.
The ICE project is part-financed by the European Union's European Regional Development Fund through the INTERREG IVA Cross-border Programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body with match financial assistance from Scottish Enterprise.
