Principal Investigator Professor Richard Harris, Director of Centre for Public Policy for Regions at Glasgow University http://www.cppr.ac.uk/. (The Centre is part of Glasgow Business School). The Centre for Public Policy for Regions (CPPR) is a major research initiative being jointly pursued by the Universities of Glasgow and Strathclyde. It looks at the role of public policy in promoting economic and social development in Scotland and beyond. Also involved in this project will be staff from Glasgow Caledonian University (see Renee Reid) who is specifically involved in designing and implementing support interventions (innovation and growth initiatives) for indigenous SMEs.
